52 Pinterest in 52 weeks: #1: Potato Soup

I saw this really cute idea over at Teaching with a touch of Twang and totally thought it was a great idea!

So, I am going to try it!

The idea is you make 52 things you pin from pinterest! I guess it would be nice to do one a week, but there may be weeks that I do none and others were I do a few more!

I will go with the flow.....

I'll let ya know how it goes and I will try to blog all 52 that I get done!

Here is number one and it won't disappoint!

I made this Potato Soup the other night, actually New Years Day and we loved it!

It was so super easy and I will for sure make it again!

Here is what you need:

1 bag of hash browns (the square ones)
1 can of cream of chicken (I accidentally used 2 which I thought was a good thing!)
half a cup of onions
a teaspoon of pepper
2 cans of chicken broth
1 8oz of cream cheese

To Make:
Simply mix the hash browns, cream of chicken, onions, pepper, chicken broth into a crockpot.  Let it cook for 5 hours on low.

Mix the cream cheese in and let it cook for another 30 minutes.

Top with bacon bits and Cheese and serve!!

It was so yummy!

Next time I make it I am going to use cream of cheddar cheese instead of cream of chicken.

You should definitely try this one if you like potato soup. There are so many different variations that you could add to this soup to make it what you like best!

Let me know if you try it:)
