She is so cute in her little bikini! Of couse it doesn't quite fit her just yet, but she will grow into it by the end of the summer:)
Only two more days and then I am on summer vacation! Can't wait! Ready for it to begin:) Hopefully I can do some scrapbooking and keep up with my blog a little more as well as reading the blogs I love to read everyday! I miss doing that.

Have a great week everyone!

A lazy/busy weekend!

Kendall has been asleep for two hours in her swing! I have been running around this house like a mad woman cleaning, mopping, doing laundry, and when she wakes up I'll run the vacumn. I thought I would take a few minutes and write a blog post since I haven't been able to lately.

We have 2 more work days left of school and then I am on SUMMER Vacation!! WAHOOOO I am sooo excited:) I can't wait to spend the summer with Kendall! We are going to have so much fun.
Friday night this is how Chris found Kendall and I! We were worn out from the week:) Thank goodness it was the last full week of the school year.

Jennifer, Brad, and Tripp came over Friday night to hang out for a little bit and we gave the babies a bath together! Thier first of many I am sure!!! We have already decided that Tripp and Kendall will be more like brother and sister and Tripp will always watch out for Kendall:)
Here are a few pictures from our weekend! We spend most of the day at the ballpark yesterday and it was HOT HOT HOT!! I love this picture of our friend's little girl Katelin looking at Kendall sleeping. She is going to be a big sister in August to Kinlee! We are very excited for them:)
Today Kendall and I went to Kohl's with my mom so that tomorrow we can go to the pool! We are going to put Kendall in it for the first time and I am so excited:) Isn't she so cute in her little sandals?
And I sure hope when she wakes up in a few minutes this is the smiling face we will see!

Have a great Holiday tomorrow:)

2 months old!

I can't believe my baby is already two months old! It has gone by so fast! I just love her more and more everyday.
Chris and I were just talking about how much things have changed with her over the past few weeks. We can now sit her down for a short period of time and she will be content! It was hard there for the first few weeks when all she wanted was for someone to hold her. Trust me I very MUCH enjoyed holding her, but I really couldn't even eat without her!
2 months
1 month

3 days!
Wow it's amazing how much she has already changed in two months! I am sad that she is getting bigger, but I also get excited about seeing her grow:) And all the fun things we will get to do as she gets older!

She is already cooing, giggling, and so much more alert in the last month! I love playing with her everyday and she especially loves to play in the mornings! I took her picture in her chair yesterday!

Kendall LOVES her bumbo. People can't believe she is already in it but she loves it. So, we started putting her in there about a week ago. She just sits in it and looks all around. We don' let her stay in it too long because she still gets tired holding her head up very long.
My new thing with the bumbo is she sits in it while I am getting her bottles ready for the next day and her bath ready. WEll last night she must have been really tired because I turned around and this is what I saw.
She has passed out in her bumbo seat! I couldn't believe it. How uncomfortable does that look, yet she is OUT! I told her I felt her:) I could probably fall asleep like that anywhere these days!

The five year journal/diary

A friend of mine got a ten year journal/diary and brought it over for me to see the other day. I knew I immediately had to have one! I love documenting/scrapping/photographing and everything else that has to do with recording your life. So, I got online to order one, however it was a bit pricey and I was just not ready to spend that much money on a journal. Let's be honest here I already spend enough money documenting my life and I needed something not so expensive:)

So, I got on Barnes and Noble and looked around. I couldn't find a 10 year diary, but I found this 5 year diary. I had a gift card and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did!
You can see from my picture that it's not very big. That's my Iphone sitting next to it, and it's only a little bigger than that.
But. it's perfect for writing a few lines at night before you go to bed about your day. I imagine that when Kendall gets older she will love looking at it. What will be so cool for me is that each year as I am writing for that day I can look back and see what I did a year before on that day and then 2 years ago and so on. I am very excited abot this! What do you think? Would you enjoy writing in a journal at night for five years? How cool will this be when my great, great grandkids get a hold of it!!

Nothing New:)

Sometimes I don't write blog posts because I am busy with a new cute face, but other times I don't write because well I feel rather boring lol and I don't have much to say.
But, since I haven't written in a few days I thought I would let you know how my first few days back went. They were great actually. I missed my little baby all day, but it went by so fast and I have SO SO much to finish before summer vacation. Which by the way is only 9 school days away! AHHHHH!!
Kendall did great with my mom Thursday and Friday and wonderful with my grandma today. They say she was so so good and I believe them:) Well mostly I believe them.

We don't have school tomorrow so I get to stay home with her which is exciting. AND I would like to catch up on Project life and maybe do a little scrapping myself. But, we will see what Kendall has in mind for us as well.

A working Mom

Today is my last day staying home with Kendall. I am sad, anxious, nervous, and excited all at the same time. I have really, really enjoyed being home with Kendall everyday. It will be extremely, extremely hard to leave this face tomorrow, but I will do and it will be OK.
I am a little embarrassed to say that I only have to go back to work for 13 days and then I have another 9 weeks off with Kendall. I am very fortunate to work the job I do in which I don't ever work a full month without at least one day a week off, I get 8-9 weeks off every summer, a 2 week winter break, and a 1 week Spring break. I couldn't ask for a better schedule.

Kendall will be staying with my mom and grandma the next 13 days that I have to work. In the fall she will be going to a home sitter in the neighborhood of the school I work at. We are very lucky for that. She will be within walking distances of my school and my principal's son will be with her!
I can't believe my baby is already 7 weeks old. She changes more and more everyday from the day she was born.
To today she has become a new baby! I love listening to all the new sounds she makes each day and just watching her grow. I am definitely one lucky mommy and one lucky wife!

I also don't know some of you blogger moms keep up with your blog like you do! I guess I will get better with more practice lol. But, this is the first week since we have been home that Kendall has napped in her bed by herself for about 2-3 hours at a time! So, if she keeps that up then I think I can keep up my blogging, but we will see:)

The Wallace family's week in picutres!
We love sitting out on our new Porch furniture and so does Kendall.
Zoey finally got a much needed groom! She looks so much better now! Kendall is one month old today. She is growing so much already and changes a little more everyday! I want her to stay a baby forever:) Kendall had her one month checkup. I can't believe my baby is already a month old.
This seems to be the only way I can put Kendall down while she is sleeping. In the bathroom in her bouncey seat!
I love giving Kendall her bath at night. She looks so cuddly and sweet. Reminds me of a cabbage patch doll!
Kendall got her first pedicure today! I think she looks great in pink:)
Thanks for stopping by!
