My highlight of 2009 and ringing in the new year:)

Happy almost New Year everyone! We are going to have a nice New Year's party with our friends Jennifer and Brad and their new baby Tripp. We have lots of food and the four of us will play games and watch TV. It will be nice. I have never been one to go out on New Year's Eve. Just don't like bothering with all the crowds. We always hang out with friends. It's a lot funner that way!

Thought I would share my highlight of 2009! Read This Post and you will see my highlight and I am sure you can all guess what it is!!

Another big highlight for me this year was getting my masters. I am so excited about starting a new year with a great job I love and not having to go to school when I get home from work. It will be nice to come home relax and be with Chris.

I am not big on making resolutions and I am not going to start this year. I am hoping for a great 2010 with my husband and then our daughter in March. I have been very blessed this year and I know I will be even more next year!

I hope you guys have a wonderful 2010 and enjoy yourselves! Be careful if your going out tonight and good luck:)

Just Waiting

I am waiting VERY patiently for the carpet cleaning company to come today. Of course their time was 12-4. The WHOLE day sitting here waiting because that is the time they gave me. I am excited about getting them cleaned, but being impatient I know. I just wish they could have said between 2-4 or something within two hours because I could have ran a few errands had I known a better time.

I just got a great deal at Walgreens though! They are running a special with picture prints 9cents a print! Go over there and check it out! It's worth it. I just ordered 90 prints and paid 875 and I get to pick them up today IF the carpet cleaners ever come lol!

Here are some more pictures of my adorable new baby friend Tripp! We took them supper last night and we are spending News Years Eve with them tomorrow night! I am sooo excited!! She sent me this pictures today of him.

Gymboree DEALS!

Yesterday I told you I found some AMAZING deals at Gymboree. I wanted to show some of the sweet outfits I got Kendall. I added everything up I got and had I paid full price for it all I would have spent 734.00!! Is that not crazy. Everything I bought was 5.99 and under and some things were 1.99 or 2.99. I bought one thing that cost 8.99 and that was a dress that I thought was cute. Here are some of my deals. I know you think I am crazy, but I LOVE clothes and this will pretty much cover her for the summer and into the fall!
These are Chris's favorite jeans. I thought the leggings were cute too. I can see her little diaper butt in them now:)I think I am going to get her name or a monogram put on this!! It's her July 4th outfit:)I paid 2.99 for this bathing suit!! It's adorable. This will be good for a cooler summer night!

Kendall's Room

I took some pictures today of Kendall's room to share with you! We are almost finished...we have to hang her valance up and then get her name on the wall.

My mom is buying the bedding and I can't wait to get it all in and put together! The rug is from Target, but it matches the bedding perfectly! It was a third of the price that Pottery Barns Rugs are! INSANE!!

I love this shelving unit. I got it at Target and I need one more basket for it, but I am waiting for a yellow basket. I haven't been able to find one yet, but I know there has to be one out there somewhere!
I also got some GREAT deals today at Gymboree that I will share with you tomorrow so come back and see them:)

It's ALMOST Christmas!!

I LOVE Christmas time especially when I am finished with my Christmas shopping. Well I am working on a special project for Chris for Christmas which is what is consuming ALL of my time right now but that's alright I know he will LOVE it! Not going to share what it is just yet, but I will I promise:) I thought I would share a few pictures from my December Daily. I need to get to working on it. I have a few days done, but I have to get all these pictures printed out before I can complete it now!
On Sunday we went out to eat for Chris' mom's brithday. Her birthday is on Christmas Eve so we always celebrate on the Sunday before AND Christmas Eve morning. There is a really neat light display this year in Louisville at the Cavern. It is all underground and you pay to drive through it! We had so much fun going through it on Sunday. It was really cool and I got a few good pictures.

Does he not looking like the meanest thing ever?!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Holidays and having a great time spending it with their families and loved ones:)

A Busy week and NOW a break:)

Yesterday was our last day of work until January 4th! I am so happy to have a break for a while. The kids were ready for that break as well. We had lots of fun making crafts this week and learning about different Holidays. All of my students this year celebrate Christmas so we were able to do some fun Chirstmas crafts. I have some picutures I will share later.

We had our work Christmas Party on Thursday and the kids parties on Friday so I have been BUSY!

Today I went shopping for Chris' Christmas and I am just about DONE! I hope that I can finsih up tomorrow and take Monday off to be at home:)

We go back to the doctor on Wednesday to make sure everything is still going OK. My fingers are crossed that the opening is still the same size. I don't want bedrest right now so let's hope that it is!

A baby Crib!

Kendall's crib was put together tonight. Her room is slowly coming together! Here is a pic of it. We decided to go with a green on the walls. My friend's interior decorator looked at our bedding and picked the color out. I am very happy with it and I can't wait to fill the room with pinks:) Oh look who was trapped in the crib last night!

I'm also going to put a pink area rug down on the floor so that will make a big difference in the room as well:)

Week 25 Belly!

I thought I would share my week 25 belly. As my husband would say I'm getting huge! LOL he's so funny isn't he:)
Today felt like the first day of school all over again. I'm just exhausted! I guess cause I had such a long time off and today was my first day back after a weekend in a while. I came home and hit the couch for a few minutes. Then I made pancakes and laid back down! I got back up just now to do the dishes, but I am already for bed. I thought I was suppose to be energized right now! I guess working with 19 6 year olds all day can do that to ya huh?!

Have a good night everyone!

The Christmas Trees are decorated!

I got A LOT accomplished today. I went Christmas shopping and finished my dad and half way finished my brother. I got a few things for Chris' mom as well. I went to the grocery store. My LEAST favorite thing to do. I did dishes and laundry. I decorated BOTH of our trees and made a yummy supper of steak mashed potatoes, corn and green beans. Lastly I made some no bake cookies and they actually set this time!! YAH me:)

I wanted to show you some pictures of my ornaments that are my tree. First our basement tree is nothing but jingle buddies. Here are two my favorites from the Wizard of Oz.

My upstairs tree has different ornamnets from Chris and I over the years. There are two that he gets every year and they are the Heirloom Collection of Ice Pals and Sweethearts. Here is the Ice Pals for this year!
Can I say I LOVE my new camera and the pictures it takes are amazing:)

And now we are ALL pooped just like Zo Zo!
We have five more days of school and then we are off until January 4th! I am very excited and so are the kids, but we have a VERY busy week this week!

Have a great Monday!

Baby Furniture!

On Wednesday after my appointment Chris decided he wanted us to go get baby furniture, so that is what we did! We went to USA Baby, which has great deals! We found one that we liked and we ended up getting three pieces instead of just two pieces. I really like what we picked out. It is espresso and I think it will look really good with our baby bedding:) I am so excited.

Here are some pictures of it.

I can't get the pictures any bigger for some reason you couldn't click on them to enlarge them on thier site. I am so in love with them! These pictures were taken from the above site so you can click there to see more:)

Tomorrow Chris is going to get the paint sample and then Saturday were going to try it out and if we like it he will be all ready to paint her room Sunday!

Can't wait to show you those pictures:)

The opening in my cervix is still the same size as it was last week. I go back in two weeks to have it checked again. I hope it's still the same size and all is good!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday. It is COLD COLD here but NO snow:( Maybe it will be here in time for Christmas!!!

So ready for tomorrow's appointment.

I am so ready to go to my appointment tomorrow morning and find out if everything is alright. I have been nervous and worried all week. I just pray that I am really not dilating and that everything is alright. We have tried not to think about it and hope that it was a little scare.

My thoughts have been all week long in different directions. I am 24 weeks there is NO way Kendall can come now. And then I have seen it happen so many times and you hear about it all the time. I just pray that she will stay in there a little longer and come out a strong healthy little girl.

Tomorrow they are going to do a glucose test on me and also a test to see if my enyzmes are still there. If they are not there then we will know if I am dilating or not. I am not really sure how the whole procedure will go, but hopefully it's all good news.

Two other people I would like to ask you to pray for This adorable little man. Dylan is 2 years old and a few months. He was born at 28 weeks with many complications. Right now he is in isolation at Kosair with RSV along with possibly whopping cough and a few other illnesses. PLEASE keep him in your prayers as he needs them right now. His mommy is very exhausted and hasn't slept since he was admitted Sunday morning.

Another prayer request I have is a friend from middle school is in the hospital until she has her baby. She is also 24 weeks along due March 22 and her water is leaking. Please prayer that she can hold on a few weeks longer and her baby girl comes out strong and healthy!

Have a great night everyone.

I have done NO Christmas shopping and if allowed after my appointment that is what I will spend the day doing! Please, please let everything with Kendall be alright and me go back to my daily routine:) We have two weeks of school and then we are off until after the new year!

This is our Christmas card picture for this year. I wanted my belly in the picture, but Chris didn't want his lol! I ordered them last night and they already shipped:) I wanted to show you the cards I ordered off of shutterfly but it won't let me. I picked out the card Santa's Belt if you order your cards from Shutterfly! I thought it was cute. We have never done picture cards, but I figured we might as well start now:)

Bedrest means WHAT?

So, you may not know this but I am a VERY antsy person. I NEVER lay around to just watch TV. I always have to be doing something. SO, when I went to the doctor Monday for a little bit of pain I was more than shocked to be told I was going to be put on Bedrest for a week as a Precautious. WHAT? I asked what exactly does this mean. Her reply lay in bed for the day get up to go to the bathroom and eat and stay in bed. WHAT? No not me. I have a job and I can't lay in bed all day. WEll guess what I have NO choice.

WHY did this happen? When I went to the doctor she did an exam. She felt that she may have felt a small opening in my cervix. I got to have another ultrasound and see my little girl. Who by the way is DEFINITELY a girl and is a little Monkey too. She had her feet completely on top of her head and was in half! Maybe this could be my pain?
What's next? I go to the doctor on Tuesday. They will perform a test which will tell them if I am dilating or not. My question was why can't this test be done TODAY and she said they can't do it until I am 24 weeks along which won't be til Saturday. PLEASE pray that I am not dilating and there wasn't an opening after all. Hopefully all will go well and I will be released from bedrest on Tuesday in which case I can go back to work and my normal routine.

My husband has been so sweet taking care of me and yelling at me when I am not in bed! He has decided he wants to get the babies room done NOW! So, I am suppose to be picking out paint colors.

I may go in my scrapbooking room for an hour tomorrow and work. I feel like sitting there will be alright. I am tired of laying around and my back hurts, but I know it is only for safety reasons and I will do whatever it takes to make sure Kendall is safe:)

I did manage to take my December Daily Picture yesterday and I will take another today!

Holidays in Hand

Today is the first day of December can you believe it? I sure can't! So, today I start my Holidays in Hand project that I have been working on as well as my Daily December. I am very excited about both of these projects. I thought I would share with you a little bit of what I have been doing with my Holidays in Hand project that was an online class done byJessica Sprague .

I decided to make this project an 8 1/2 by 11 book. I had a book that I had bought that was red so I have been working on recovering it or changing the cover a bit and I will post that when it is complete. I haven't done an 8 1/2*11 book in a LONG time. That was all I use to do when I first started scrapbooking. I felt that this project would be perfect in this size of an album. Of course I am sure everyone is doing theirs differently, which is what makes the project so much fun! Here are my first two pages. I haven't gotten all of them done of course, but my goal is to stay 10 days ahead of myself. I went ahead and journaled with the journaling prompt for the first day. I am going to do that as much as possible ahead as well so that I can be ahead of myself!

I used my cricut to make the tag that you see on this first page. The prompt was to discuss traditions in your family. I talked about Chris and I excahnging stockings every year. I don't know if you can read the journaling, and I am really not sure how to make it so that you can click on my pictures to see them bigger. (If you know will you please share!)

I wasn't sure I would like the way this project was turning out, but just after looking back at my first two days I have already decided that I love it! The prompts are awesome and such a great way to get thoughts out on paper. I definitly won't feel in the make and do part of the prompt card every single day, but some days I will have both filled out. I will at least do one each day!

I will try to share my pages as I go along this month as well as my December Daily album!
