1. Takes good, focused and quality pictures.
2. Takes pictures quickly.
3. Is easy to figure out and use!
I have been looking at the Rebel XL for some time now, but I am not sure if I would EVER figure out how to use that camera.
Now that we are getting ready to have a baby I really want to have a good camera that takes REALLY good pictures QUICKLY...Does anyone know if the Rebel does these things?
Another thing I am intersted in purchasing is a good photo shop. I think that might be part of my problem (OK so I am not the best at taking pictures either!) But, I think if I had a good photoshop I would be able to do a lot more with my pictures as well! What do you think? Any good suggestions on photoshops?
HELP ME! If you have any good suggestions or ideas PLEASE let me know! Thanks:)

This week I thought I would share with you something that seems to be helping me! I having been feeling VERY nausea so on Friday night Chris and I decided to go to Rite Aid and pick up the sick bands that everyone has been telling me about. Well, my options were two black rubber bands one for each hand or a sweatband bracelet. I chose the black bands.
They didn't have all these cute colors at my store or I would have gotten one for sure:) These are exactly what they look like though. But, let me tell you they work! I haven't felt near as sick as I did last Wednesday-Friday. And yesterday when I went the pool I took them off and by the end of the day I was ready to get sick so I had to put them back on. They have been such a blessing. I know they don't work for everyone, so if you are/were really sick during pregnancy they probably wouldn't work for you, but they have definitly given me some relief!
All you do is put them about 2 and 1/2 fingers away from the crease in your wrist and snap them on. You can turn the knob on the round part that is on your pressure point to tighten or loosen the pressure. People honestly don't even notice them unless I point them out to them. It is well worth the fashion statement BELIEVE me!!
Hopefully I will be back to my normal bloggy self now that I have gotten a little more into the routine of being back at work:)

2. Texas Roadhouse: I love steak can you tell? Well this is my all time favorite steakhouse. I love the cactus blossom and the steak cabob! So YUMMY:) Here's another sad story for me lol, I love to eat my meat medium rare and guess what? Can't do that while your prego! That's alright it will be SO worth it in the end!
3. Skyline Chili: Even though I am not from Cinncinatti, this is still one of my favorites. My best friend and I eat there once a month. Actually I don't think I will eat there while I am pregnant because I don't want to not like it once I am not pregnant anymore. And yes in Louisville, Kentucky we put noodles in our chili!!

Here is a close up of the picture!
To make my lo. I used some paper from my good friend Maggi. She was so sweet to send them to me! I LOVE them. I got the gerber daisies at Archivers and I used Doodlebug buttons for the middle. I had never used Thickers before, but I LOVE them. I think I will be buying more of these. (And you would think that since I have my cricut I wouldn't need thickers! Whatever!!)

Once again for the third time in less than a year we make National News on account of our Weather. Most of downtown Louisville was shut down due to major flooding. University of Louisville was closed with 15 buildings flooded. And this is what my backyard looked like before we left for the doctor's appointment. Our travel there was an ADVENTURE..we were practically floating through water, but we were getting there if I had to get a boat out and canoe there! Then we got there and I thought my doctor's office was on the third floor. No. Maybe the fourth. No. OK so it was the fifth. WE finally made it and we won't make that mistake again:)
The river in my backyard.
We checked in and we were handed a whole baggie full of goodies. These are all the things I was given. Formula already?
This is what our baby looks like right now!
And I don't know that I have EVER seen a baby small enough to wear a diaper that size...Maybe I will!!
Then we went back to the room. I peed in a cup, we had a consultation with the doctor, did a check up, and got blood taken. Everything was good and she said that I am 6 weeks and 4 days and still the delivery date of March 26, 2010! Yah!
Only bad thing is she wants me to take these! They are prenatel vitamins. She gave me enough for 5 weeks. I really am scared to take them because I am scared I will be sick from them. I am going to try to eat a bowl of cereal before I go to bed and then take them. I have never been able to take "big people" vitamins, so really nervous! I will let you know how that goes:)
So, I am thinking we will register at Target, and the Baby Depot in Burlington. I wanted to do Babies R Us, but I don't think three places are needed and Target and Baby Depot are within 10 miles of my house! What do you think?

I will definitly get What to Expect in the first year and toddler years after I have my babies. Do any of you have these two books? Do you like them and have you found them useful?
The What to Expect Website is just as awesome. There are message boards where you can talk to other women that are expecting in the same month as you. Not only that, but you can look up a ton of things on the site as well. Also, you put your expected due date and each week they send you newsletters about what to expect during this week of your pregnancy. I probably get at least one email from them a day. However, they are very helpful emails and the way they are set up is very appealing to the eye.
What to Expect knows that sometimes there is also a man involved throughout the pregnancy as well and they have thoughtfully added a few words of advice and even comfort for the daddy to be. I thought that was great because I haven't found many books in which this is the case.
Definitly go check out What To Expect It is an awesome tool if you are pregnant, getting pregnant, or even just thinking about it.
There is also a book out now that is called What to Expect Before your Expecting. Didn't know this until the other day, but those of you trying to conceive should for sure check it out! I am sure it is just as useful as What To Expect When You're Expecting has been for me!
Hope you enjoyed my first Mommy to be Monday:)
Please check out my other blog Nine Months and Counting. It's a picture a day of my entire pregnancy!!!
