4 Months

Kole turned 4 months on January 4!  At least I am only one month behind!!

Kole at 4 months:

Wearing:  size 2 diapers and 3/6 month clothes!
Eating: Every 3-4 hours and got to taste cereal this month!  He seems to like it and does well eating it!
Sleeping: Now in his own bed.  Some nights he wakes after 6-7 hours other nights he will sleep 12 hours.  He has been really off his schedule for a few weeks because of Christmas!
First:  Had his first Christmas.  He did really well considering how busy we were.  He is such a content baby we are so lucky that he is as content as he is!

He is still some what content sitting on his own for a few minutes at a time. We introduced him to the saucer and he seems to like it well.   He likes to sit in his swing and watch the TV.  He is really intrigued with what is on the TV screen!

Can't believe we are already in our 5th month of having this sweet boy in our lives!

My sweet friend Leah makes all of his monthly shirts!!  She blogs at My Everyday Love

Hope you are enjoying your week!

Project Life 2014: The beginning!

I am so excited to finally be back into my weekly PL album.  I gave myself grace last year for not completing this album.  Between having a baby, building a new house, and living with someone else I just didn't get it done.  But, that's life and I was sure to document life in other ways last year.

But, this year I am so excited!  I have decided to use the The Sunshine Edition for my kit this year.  I am however going to mix a few other kits in there as well.  I went with the Jade BInder this year because I loved the color of it.  I usually have to use two albums for each year, so I will probably get another binder in the middle of the year!  I also went with the Honey Dividers because I think the Sunshine and Honey edition compliment each other.  I am using the Honey edition in Kendall's album, so I might use it a little in this years album as well!!

Ok so let's get to my cover and week 1!  Very simple and that is why I like this project.  Some months may be a little more plan than others.  Right now I am in the year of the baby so I will have some simple pages throughout the year!

Here is a picture of the binder I am using!  I love it!
My cover is very simple and I love it.  We had our pictures taken in November and I was thinking about adding one, but I think I like it just the way it is!
Week one: I have chosen to do the weekly layout approach again this year.  I take a lot of pictures daily!  So, I may use more than one layout per week.  Some weeks may not look like this:)

This is where I have left off for week 1!  Can't wait to share week 2.

I am so not a photography, but I LOVE To take pictures and I am learning to use my camera a little more everyday.  It is so important to remember that this process is not about the quality of my pictures, but the memories they hold.  I can only picture my great, great, great grandchildren looking at my albums:)

Project Life Tuesday: Completed December Daily! Picture Heavy!

Just thought I would share my December Daily album tonight!  I LOVE how it turned out and I will definitely be using Becky Higgins PL albums for my DD next Christmas!  I love her new 6X8 albums and think they would be perfect for DD!

The only down fall to using a mini album this year was that I was limited to the amount of pages in the album!  I could have done a few extra pages for Christmas Day had I had another page or two!

So, here are my pictures I hope you enjoy!  Remember I order the Merry and Bright Kit from HSN in September and I am so glad I did:)

Don't forget to check out The Mom Creative for more Project Life goodness!

And this year I getting back on the weekly PL album!  I am so excited about it and I hope to share this next week:)

3 Months

At 3 months we had a few happenings!

Here are his updates!

Wearing: 3 month clothes and size 1/2 diapers.  We switched him in the middle of the month to size 2!

Eating:  Every 3/4 hours.  He gets three bottles during the day while I am at work and does great with them!

Sleeping: In his own bed starting at 11 weeks!  I know it was late but I just couldn't change him!

Loves:  Being around us, smiling, doing some laughing, taking a bath with sissy!

First: Trip to Kosair.  Kendall accidentally scratched Kole in the eye when we were at Mamaw Trinettes.  WE took him to Kosair and he had a cornea abrasion.  I felt terrible for him and Kendall bless their hearts!

Still a laid back sweet little boy and we are beyond blessed to have two beautiful children!

Sidenote:  So I totally put 4 months on the chalk board and took some of the sweetest pictures.  Took the last picture when  Chris informed me that I had the wrong month on there. At that point Kole was over it. I got a few good pictures of him by himself on my phone thankfully but this is all I got on the real camera!

Slow down mommy I am not four months yet!!

Kendall loves getting her picture taken with him each month and I think it is fun to see how much she has grown in the past few months as well!

2 Months

Since Kole is 4 months now I guess I will play catch up on his monthly posts:)

I am pretty terrible at these sorts of things if you can't already tell!!

Wearing:  At 2 months Kole was wearing size 2 diapers and 3 month clothes.

Eating:  Still eating every three hours.

Sleeping:  In mommy and daddys room still:)

Loves:  Bath time, being held, smiling and showing those big dimples!

First:  Had his first Halloween!  Kole was Peter Pan and sis was Tinkerbell.  We went trick or treating twice at the zoo and once in our neighborhood.  This year it rained on Halloween so our neighborhood decided to have it the day after Halloween!

Started going to Mamaw Trinette's this month and did so well!

Still not taking a paci and we have given up!

Sleeping around 5 hours a night most nights.  First few days  I went back to work it was a struggle getting him to sleep and we had one or two very sleepless nights!  Thankfully it was just two and that was it!

Still loves his sissy very much:)  And she loves him lots and lots!

Kole is such a happy baby.  WE are so lucky to have such a content baby boy!
