The end of Week 23 and still bedresting it:(

Here is my 23 week picture. I am still bedresting it. BORING, but I can't wait to go back to the doctor on Tuesday and hopefully get back to work on Wednesday. I have done NO Christmas shopping and if allowed after my appointment that is what I will spend the day doing! Please, please let everything with Kendall be alright and me go back to my daily routine:) We have two weeks of school and then we are off until after the new year!

Our Christmas Cards

This is our Christmas card picture for this year. I wanted my belly in the picture, but Chris didn't want his lol! I ordered them last night and they already shipped:) I wanted to show you the cards I ordered off of shutterfly but it won't let me. I picked out the card Santa's Belt if you order your cards from Shutterfly! I thought it was cute. We have never done picture cards, but I figured we might as well start now:)

December Daily Pictures

So, being on bedrest my pictures may not be all that exciting, but hey it's my life right now! I really like this project and I can't wait to start scraping the first few days!

December 1st: This is what I see! My feet ALL day long. Good thing I got a pedicture Sunday before this all began;)My entertainment for December 1st as well! Chris was making Zoey into superwoman and needless to say she DIDN'T like it!My task for December 2nd. Pick out colors for Kendall's bedroom! NOPE not decided yet! Maybe another day:)December 3rd. Jennifer and Brad came over to play Sequence with us since I can't do anything else! So sweet of them:) I stood up just to take the picture:)

Well there are my first three days! I am sure some days will have more than one picture:)

Bedrest means WHAT?

So, you may not know this but I am a VERY antsy person. I NEVER lay around to just watch TV. I always have to be doing something. SO, when I went to the doctor Monday for a little bit of pain I was more than shocked to be told I was going to be put on Bedrest for a week as a Precautious. WHAT? I asked what exactly does this mean. Her reply lay in bed for the day get up to go to the bathroom and eat and stay in bed. WHAT? No not me. I have a job and I can't lay in bed all day. WEll guess what I have NO choice.

WHY did this happen? When I went to the doctor she did an exam. She felt that she may have felt a small opening in my cervix. I got to have another ultrasound and see my little girl. Who by the way is DEFINITELY a girl and is a little Monkey too. She had her feet completely on top of her head and was in half! Maybe this could be my pain?

What's next? I go to the doctor on Tuesday. They will perform a test which will tell them if I am dilating or not. My question was why can't this test be done TODAY and she said they can't do it until I am 24 weeks along which won't be til Saturday. PLEASE pray that I am not dilating and there wasn't an opening after all. Hopefully all will go well and I will be released from bedrest on Tuesday in which case I can go back to work and my normal routine.

My husband has been so sweet taking care of me and yelling at me when I am not in bed! He has decided he wants to get the babies room done NOW! So, I am suppose to be picking out paint colors.

I may go in my scrapbooking room for an hour tomorrow and work. I feel like sitting there will be alright. I am tired of laying around and my back hurts, but I know it is only for safety reasons and I will do whatever it takes to make sure Kendall is safe:)

I did manage to take my December Daily Picture yesterday and I will take another today!

Holidays in Hand

Today is the first day of December can you believe it? I sure can't! So, today I start my Holidays in Hand project that I have been working on as well as my Daily December. I am very excited about both of these projects. I thought I would share with you a little bit of what I have been doing with my Holidays in Hand project that was an online class done byJessica Sprague .


I decided to make this project an 8 1/2 by 11 book. I had a book that I had bought that was red so I have been working on recovering it or changing the cover a bit and I will post that when it is complete. I haven't done an 8 1/2*11 book in a LONG time. That was all I use to do when I first started scrapbooking. I felt that this project would be perfect in this size of an album. Of course I am sure everyone is doing theirs differently, which is what makes the project so much fun! Here are my first two pages. I haven't gotten all of them done of course, but my goal is to stay 10 days ahead of myself. I went ahead and journaled with the journaling prompt for the first day. I am going to do that as much as possible ahead as well so that I can be ahead of myself!

I used my cricut to make the tag that you see on this first page. The prompt was to discuss traditions in your family. I talked about Chris and I excahnging stockings every year. I don't know if you can read the journaling, and I am really not sure how to make it so that you can click on my pictures to see them bigger. (If you know will you please share!)

I wasn't sure I would like the way this project was turning out, but just after looking back at my first two days I have already decided that I love it! The prompts are awesome and such a great way to get thoughts out on paper. I definitly won't feel in the make and do part of the prompt card every single day, but some days I will have both filled out. I will at least do one each day!

I will try to share my pages as I go along this month as well as my December Daily album!

Pictures with my NEW camera!

I thought I would share some pictures from my new camera! I love it! I never knew how terrible my other cameras were until I saw these pictures. They still aren't great but that has to do with the photographer! I am learning that's for sure:)

I'm SO excited!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I can't belive my week off work is already completely over! But, I have three weeks and then we have two whole weeks off for Christmas. So, I am alright with that. I can make it three weeks. This week is going to be a busy week. I have two more classes left and then I have my MASTERS!! I never thought this day would come:) I have completed everything I just have to show up to class on Monday and Wednesday! YAHOO!


So, my mom and dad gave me my graduation present early! My mom went out on Black Friday to get me my new CAMERA! I got a Rebel XS. Here is a picture of it. I am still learning how in the world to use it, and I know that will take a while. That's alright with me I can do it! I have a free class to attend as well that came with the camera. I am so excited to have it in time for December Daily and Holidays in Hand! I wasn't expecting to get it this soon but hey I am happy!

And don't you love my new camera strap. This very sweet lady Amy made it for me! I just love it:) She was so sweet to work with and I HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for camera straps!
